Update...finally!

The kids love to chance the bubbles Maria blows!

Rylie does the funniest thing: she throws the ball and then chances it. She gets so excited about it!

Rylie just loves just sitting in this chair.

School pictures!

 Rylie!
 Nolan!
 Maria!
Ella!

I had my photography studio set up for some 4th of July pictures I was taking and I thought what a wonderful time to get a picture of everyone. It was kinda tough because I didn't have another grown up behind me trying to get the babies attention. But I got some good ones!

Finally a New Post!

So my husband and I went to Florida for a week and then with the tropical storm Debbie we were delayed two days. But we made it back. Unfortunately Rylie was sick all last week so this is my first week back with having the whole gang. Both Rylie and Nolan have started crawling very well since I was away. They both dabbled in crawling before but now they are experts! And Rylie has gotten teeth! Here's some pictures so far this week!

Look at Rylie try to sneak some of Ella's food. Too Cute!

New Kid on the Block

Sometimes life is so tough we fall asleep while eating!

Welcome Nolan! Nolan is the newest addition to our group! He is only a couple weeks younger than Rylie and they are so funny together! They both just stare at one another and try to "share" or should I say take away. Toys are always more appealing when they are in someone else's hands! But they aren't offended and just swap toys back and forth.

Music Player

Rylie is bigger and can reach some "big" kid toys! She loves this music piano. She jams with the music!

Enjoying the weather

Rylie is showing me her baby push ups! You go Rylie! Work out those baby guns!

Today we went outside on the patio. It was such a nice day so we wanted to experience it. Ella and Maria played around in the yard while Rylie and I chilled on the blanket. Apparently she got a hold of my keys too!

more fun

Rylie is showing me how she can grab her feet. The first picture she's saying "look at what I can do!" The second picture she saying "umm, did you see that? It was pretty cool."

Ella and Rylie had fun together in the kitchen while I got some dishes done! They dumped out a plastic food tote and they got a hold of some cereal (good thing they couldn’t get that open!) but they were like partners in action! It kept them entertained for quite awhile!

We are going on a walk!

We went on a walk on Wednesday. I loaded up Rylie and Ella in the double stroller and Maria lead the way! Sorry I didn't get the best picture it is very hard to get all three to look at me at the same time plus I only had my phone camera on me. But we had fun! We walked all the way past Kennedy on Townehouse Dr past all the Condos. Hopefully next time we'll go even further! We saw squirrels, dogs, and ducks! There's so much to see and it's all so new and exciting for these girls!

1st week!

So this starts the first full week I get to watch Rylie. She is being really good and my girls are loving her! As you can see in the pictures, even when she is in the baby exersaucer, she turns into the center of attention and Ella and Maria just want to play with her. On Tuesday she saw Ella eating something and Rylie wanted to eat something too. But I had just feed her so I knew she just wanted something to nibble on so I had some left over mum mums. Which are a very easily dissolvable rice cracker made for small babies. I let her try one and she really liked eating “big” kid food! Of course, as soon as Ella saw her eating one she wanted one even tough she has refused to eat one in awhile. Ella and Rylie are so cute together. Being only 6 months apart I can tell they'll be good friends!

Hello There!

Hi there!
This blog is to help Amber and Gordie get a sense of how Rylie’s day at my house is. Since I am not very good at journaling I will probably only post 2-3 times a week. But I wanted to get in the habit by starting my first entry even though Rylie only stayed with us half the day. Maria was at school most of that time thus her absence from the pictures. But Ella and Rylie really hit it off! I’m so exacted for my girls to get to know Rylie and have her become like a sister to them! Rylie is very aware of them and they are of her too. It’s like they are entertainment for each other. Today went soo well (much better than I could ever imagine) that I hope it sets a tone for the rest of the time I watch her. Of course there were moments when Ella (who was just weaned from the bottle) would look at Rylie drinking and think to herself ‘Hey! I want that!’ so I had to distract her with her own sippy cup but I guess nothing beats a bottle in the eyes of a 13 month old!  But really everything went great and I can’t wait to watch her again!
